Description
The American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), formerly the American Board of Family Practice, is the second largest medical specialty board in the United States. The board is dedicated to the improvement of the quality of medical care available to the public; establishment and maintenance of high standards of excellence in the specialty of Family Practice; and improvement of the standards of medical education and facilities for training in the specialty.
