Be prepared

(HealthDay News) -- A long flight can be nerve-wracking for parents with a new baby or young child. But packing a few essentials can make the trip go more smoothly.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends bringing:

  • Supplies for changing baby's diaper.
  • An extra outfit.
  • Your child's favorite stuffed animal or blanket.
  • Paper towels or tissues.
