Description

Accelerated Cure Project for Multiple Sclerosis is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to accelerating the cure of MS by facilitating research that determines the causes and mechanisms of MS. Complex diseases call for innovative approaches. Our approach is the MS Repository, a biobank of blood samples and data from people with MS and matched controls. Like most biobanks, we make these samples and data available to scientists investigating MS and other demyelinating diseases. Unlike most biobanks, we take the extra step of collecting research results from scientists using our samples so that they can be analyzed together. Our vision is that harnessing together the power of this data will enable important breakthroughs: treatments, prevention strategies, and ultimately cures for MS.
