Description
The Endometriosis Research Center (ERC) is a leading charitable organization founded in 1997 with the mission to elevate this painful illness to a priority public health platform. Unlike similar organizations, ERC is completely free; there is never a cost to benefit from or participate in any program. ERC is focused on lending a voice to and improving the lives of all those with endometriosis and bridging the gap between science and support. The organization contributes to every aspect of the disease through global collaborations with doctors and health professionals, scientists, affected shareholders, legislators, media, industry and all parties interested in endometriosis. It is ERC's goal to make a positive difference in the lives of the 176 million suffering through various, robust support and education programs, ongoing research facilitation and recruitment efforts, vast awareness endeavors, legislative and insurance/healthcare reform efforts, debunking of myths and misinformation, connecting women to quality care, and so much more.
