Diet and exercise are key

(HealthDay News) -- A recurrence of cancer and other chronic health conditions, such as weight or heart problems, are common concerns after cancer treatment.

The American Society of Clinical Oncology recommends these lifestyle changes:

  • Eat more nutritious foods.
  • Stop using tobacco and restrict alcohol intake.
  • Increase physical activity in safe and effective ways.
  • Figure out healthy ways to manage stress.
